On June 20, 2014, Springfield, Mo.based Great Southern Bank assumed deposits and acquired certain loan relationships from Valley Bank in a transaction conducted by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR ONLINE BANKING SERVICE
We strongly encourage you to make screen prints of each of the accounts you currently access via Online Banking, the bill pay payees you currently have setup, any information for recurring payments that you may have scheduled and print or download any previous bank statements that you may need. Please retain all payee billing statements for bill pay for you to verify: your payees, payee information (including account numbers and addresses) and scheduled bill payments for accuracy, if applicable.
Bill Pay Information (if applicable): Your last day to access your Valley Bank bill pay information isOctober 19, 2014 . All bill payments scheduled through October 22 will be processed as normal. If you have any bill payments scheduled between October 23 and October 27, please edit your payments to be paid before or after this timeframe, as any items scheduled to fall within this timeframe may encounter errors.
Popmoney Payment System: Your last day to access your Valley Bank Popmoney information is October 19. This information will not be migrated as part of this conversion.
Online Banking Transfers: All transfers between your accounts must be completed before October 22. To prevent errors, all transfers scheduled between October 23 and October 27 should be rescheduled to occur before or after these dates.
Valley Bank Online Banking: As of 3:00pm CDT on October 23, you will be able to use Online Banking for transaction history and balances onlythrough October 26, 2014. If you are a business customer, you will no longer have access to your Online Banking service as of 3:00pm CDT on October 23.
Monday, October 27, 2014: You can begin to enjoy the convenience of Great Southern Online Banking. Once you login, please thoroughly check your account listings and all scheduled transfers. Please keep in mind that your login credentials cannot be activated until October 27, 2014.
